A woman was threatened with a knife and had jewellery stolen from her wrist after four burglars broke into her home in Northampton.
Four men forced their way into a house in High Street, Kingsthorpe sometime between 10.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, March 31.
The men initially attempted to enter the house through the front door. When this failed, one of the offenders entered through the back door and let the other men into the house through the front.
The victim, who was in the house, was threatened with a knife while the offenders searched the property.
The burglars ran off with jewellery from the house and items that were being worn at the time by the victim.
The men ran from the house after the victim smashed a window and called for help.
They ran to a parked car, that they are believed to have arrived in, which was parked near to Liquid Design.
They travelled in the dark coloured hatchback style car up towards Welford Road and turned right.
All men are described as being white, about 5ft 6ins tall and wearing face coverings.
Officers are looking for witnesses who may have seen the vehicle or individuals acting suspiciously at the time of or after the incident.
