Who’s been sentenced at Northampton Magistrates’ Court

The following people were sentenced at Northampton Magistrates’ Court:

JULY 2:

Leonie Husbands, aged 30, of Wake Way, Grange Park, Northampton, kept a dog while disqualified; fined £40, surcharge £30 and costs £85. Commission of a further offence while on a conditional discharge for making off without payment; no action taken on breach.

Sarah Mcauley, aged 61, c/o Rothsay Terrace, Northampton, failed to notify Northampton Borough Council of a change in housing benefit; fined £250, surcharge £30 and costs £100. Similar offence relating to employment and support allowance; no separate penalty.

Peter Sara, aged 28, of Docklewell Close, Towcester, performed a sexual act on himself in public; fined £450, surcharge £45 and costs £85.

Clare Wallis, aged 36, of The Oaks, Grange Park, Northampton, stole two bottles of vodka from Waitrose; conditional discharge for 12 months, surcharge £20 and costs £85.

Molly Worster, aged 19, of Oakleigh Drive, Northampton, damaged a toilet cubicle wall; conditional discharge for 12 months, compensatin £320.

Lauren Angove, aged 19, of Epping Walk, Daventry, stole various clothing and cosmetic items worth £164 belonging to Primark; fined £40. Stole clothing and jewellery worth £144 belonging to Next; fined £40, surcharge £30 and costs £85. Stole clothing and key ring worth £13.97 belonging to H&M; no separate penalty. Stole jewellery and cosmetics worth £136 belonging to M&S; no separate penalty. Stole jewellery and clothing worth £32.97 belonging to New Look; no separate penalty.

Narcis-Alexandry Dumitrascu, aged 27, of Pinetrees, Northampton, drink-driving with a breath test reading of 88mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; fined £480, surcharge £48 and costs £85, banned from driving for 22 months.

Keiron Jones, of Billing Road, Northampton, assault; compensation of £50.

Richard Perkins, aged 38, of Celeborn Place, Northampton, impersonating a police officer; community order made, surcharge £85, costs £325. Driving without due care and attention; no separate penalty, licence endorsed with three points.

Bharit Shah, aged 56, of Drywell Court, Northampton, drink-driving with a breath test reading of 81mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; fined £120, surcharge £30 and costs £85, banned from driving for 22 months.

Simon Turay, aged 40, of Pomfret Court, River View, Northampton, driving while disqualified; no separate penalty, banned from driving for six months. No insurance; no separate penalty. Broke into business premises and stole £2,125 worth of property; jailed for 18 weeks suspended for 18 months, surcharge £115, costs £85.

Teboho Tladi, aged 33, of Alcombe Road, Northampton, had an article in a public place without good authority; jailed for 12 weeks. Assaulted a police officer; jailed for one week concurrent, compensation £50 and surcharge £115. Stole a small quantity of cannabis; no separate penalty. Failed to surrender to custody; jailed for one week concurrent.

Mark Beasley, aged 31, of Doddington Road, Earls Barton, assault, used or threatened violence against police officers and members of the public, intent to cause another person harassment, alarm or distress, damaged numerous items of property, assault; pleaded guilty sent to Northampton Crown Court for sentence.

Jamie Pearce, aged 28, of Brafield Road, Horton, assault; fined £175, compensation £50, surcharge £30 and costs £85.

Piotr Dziuba, aged 39, of Trent Walk, The Grange, Daventry, drove a car not in accordance with a licence ; no separate penalty. No insurance; no separate penalty. Drink-driving with a breath test reading of 158mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath; jailed for eight weeks, surcharge £115, banned from driving for 37 months.

Rowland Smith, aged 44, of Harlestone Road, Northampton, assault; jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, surcharge £115, costs £85.

JULY 3

Vinnie Nolan, aged 23, of Cowley Close, Northampton, breach of a court order; fined £60, surcharge £30 and costs £85.

Stephen Tanney, aged 54, of Valley Road, Brackley, made off without paying for petrol worth £55; fined £60, compensation £55, surcharge £30 and costs £85.

Matthew Devonshire, aged 35, of The Maples, Daventry, breach of a court order; jailed for 18 weeks consecutive suspended for 12 months, surcharge £115 and costs £85. Breach of a further court order; jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months.

Richard Russell, aged 38, of no fixed abode, attempted to steal items from a glove box; jailed for eight weeks, surcharge £115, costs £85. Had a kitchen knife in a public place without good authority; jailed for 26 weeks consecutive. Had a home-made cosh in a public place; jailed for 12 weeks concurrent. Had an article in connection with theft; jailed for 12 weeks concurrent. Commission of a further offence while on a suspended sentence for the following offences – failed to provide a breath test; suspended sentence of 16 weeks imposed as sentence of 12 weeks consecutive. Had a knucklesduster in a public place; suspended sentence for four weeks imposed. Failed to provide a blood test; suspended sentence for eight weeks imposed.
