MAY 10:

Matthew Stilp, aged 42, of Manor Gardens, Hanging Houghton, Northampton, driving at 50mph in a 30mph zone; fined £584, surcharge £58, costs £85, licence endorsed with five points.

John Sturgess, aged 31, of Pembroke Road, Northampton, driving not in accordance with a licence; fined £220, surcharge £30 and costs £85, licence endorsed with three points.

John Wilson, aged 72, of Harborough Road, Northampton, faulty tyre; fined £80, surcharge £30 and costs £40, licence endorsed with three points.

Daniel Nolan, aged 31, of Ecton Park Road, Northampton, driving without due care and attention; fined £315, surcharge £31 and costs £450, licence endorsed with five points.

Vasile Baran, aged 21, of no fixed abode, stole clothes worth £248 belonging to Primark; conditional discharge for 12 months .

Lisa McDonald, aged 34, of Hinton Road, Northampton, stole four meat joints worth £91.44 belonging to Waitrose; community order made, compensation £91.44. Stole four lamb joints worth £118.85 from Waitrose; community order made, compensation £118.56. Stole five meat products worth £130 belonging to Asda; community order made, compensation £130. MAY 14

Danny Lynch, aged 22, of Kingsland Avenue, Northampton, assault; jailed for 26 weeks suspended for 24 months, ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work, compensation £1,o00, surcharge £115 and costs £85.

Paul Poyser, aged 43, of Tower Field Square, Northampton, assault; jailed for eight weeks suspended for 15 months, ordered to pay compensation of £260, surcharge £115 and costs £100. Stole nine packets of chicken worth £45 belonging to Tesco; jailed for one week suspended for 15 months, compensatin £45. Failed to surrender to custody, jailed for one week suspended for 15 months.

Mark Spearing, aged 37, of Pike Lane, Northampton, breached a court order; jailed for six weeks.
