Weekend of fun at the Racecourse for town festival
A huge fun fair was the main attraction and a live music stage featuring local artists drew in the crowds.
Although the balloons failed to go up on every scheduled session due to the bad weather, they could be seen over the town on Sunday afternoon.

Jimmy McDonald, from St James, said: “It was exactly what the town needs for families. Well done to the organisers.”
A spokeswoman for the festival said: “We’re glad that so many of you enjoyed yourselves and we are now working on bringing you an even bigger and better festival next year.”
