WEATHER: Heavy rain and end to freezing temperatures forecast for this evening
Today should see an end to freezing temperatures in Northampton with heavy rain moving in in the evening, according to BBC weather reports.
The report says it will be a largely sunny day with icy patches likely to remain on untreated surfaces.
Cloud will build up at around 6pm, which will also see temperatures rise to around 2C for the first time in days.
However, heavy rain is forecast for the evening starting at around 9pm, ending with thick fog at around 4am on Wednesday.
