Forecasters at Pitsford Weather Station are predicting snow showers in Northamptonshire tomorrow.
Writing on their website, they say the weather will be unsettled on Tuesday with outbreaks of rain on and off during the day. As temperatures drop through the afternoon, there could be “fleeting wintry showers”.
“It will remain breezy with a moderate south-westerly wind. It will turn drier towards evening, although snow showers are expected to move in from the west overnight. Lows will fall to 1C,” the statement added.
Moving into Wednesday, the forecast said, the snow showers will disappear and the day should remain dry.
“The main feature though will be the strengthening wind, becoming a strong south-westerly by the evening with gusts reaching gale force quite widely,” the forecast said. “The wind will tend to ease overnight as rain moves in from the west.”
