The coach carrying supports and players from Oxhey Jets, from Watford, came to a premature halt when the rear brakes seized up.

The coach broke down at junction 15 of the M1, next to the traffic lights, which caused severe delays to motorists as emergency services tried to remove the coach and direct traffic.
