Families flocked to Daventry Country Park at the weekend to enjoy a range of Easter activities.
There was a fun Eggsplorer trail, an egg hunt in the play area, and an Easter bonnet competition.
The event, on Easter Monday, was organised by Daventry District Council with support from Daventry Town Council and The Friends of Daventry Country Park.
Gemma Cooper, Community Projects Officer at Daventry District Council, said: “It was lovely to see so many families at the park enjoying the Easter egg hunt in the spring sunshine. More than 150 children registered to take part so there was a really great community spirit.
“We also had some fantastic entries in the Easter bonnet competition and I know the judges had a really tough time choosing the winners. I’d like to thank everyone who supported the event, including The Friends of Daventry Country Park, Daventry Town Council and the Mayor of Daventry, Councillor Ron Fox.”
Winners of the bonnet competition were: Most Flowery Bonnet - Dylan Walsh (6); Best Themed Bonnet – Cyran Davies (4); Cutest Bonnet – Bethany Beezhold (6); Special Prizes – Morgan Lindley (7) and Amelia Roys (4).
