VIDEO: Two million viewers watch Crimewatch Roadshow live from Northamptonshire

More than two million people have watched the Crimewatch Roadshow programmes broadcast from Northamptonshire over the past two days.

Viewers have seen a wide range of appeals, including an update on the investigation into the murder of Corby nightclub owner David Les Ross and one on an armed robbery in Little Billing.

The daytime programme - which also visited the county in 2013 - has been a chance to showcase some of the work being done around the Force, including the mental health triage car, body-worn cameras and the pioneering use of alcohol detection tags.

Staff and officers from across Northamptonshire Police have contributed to the programme, doing interviews, assisting with appeals and reconstructions and sourcing potential video material for the two programmes, the second of which came from the Market Square in Northampton.
