Pictures of hundreds of house signs, garden ornaments and tools which may have been stolen from properties across south Northamptonshire have been released by the police.
The items were seized following a raid today when five people were arrested in connection with a large number of alleged thefts in rural parts of the county.
Detective Inspector Phil Mills said: “We are very pleased to have made these arrests and to have found a substantial number of items which we believe to be stolen.
“Operations like this show our commitment to tackling rural crime and protecting our rural communities.
“We would now like to hear from anyone, particularly those in the Daventry and south Northamptonshire areas, if they believe they have had items like these stolen.”
