Northamptonshire Police has released a video telling the story of a victim of child sexual exploitation (CSE) to raise awareness of the crime.
The video is part of the ‘Say Something if you See Something’ campaign, which aims to highlight the visible signs of CSE to parents and carers of those that could be at risk.
Assistant Chief Constable, Ivan Balhatchet, said: “We all need to open our eyes to the appalling abuse of children and we need people to understand what the stages of CSE look like, which this video highlights.
“Our message is ‘say something if you see something’ – we need people to speak out against child exploitation.
“There is no greater priority for Northamptonshire Police and its partners.”
