VIDEO: New York style pizza bar to open doors to Northampton residents this month... but the location is a top secret

Owners say the restaurant, which will be known as 'Brooklyn Pizza Bar' is designed to serve 50 covers and is likely to open by the end of March.

Ryan Wakeman, who has lived in Northampton for 21 years, explored New York in January with his co-founder to study what makes authentic pizza restaurants work and the pair created a video of their findings.

He said: "I have always had a passion for pizza. The quality of pizza in New York if completely different to everywhere else in the UK.

"Our goal is we want to see if we can get the restaurant open by March 31."
