University of Northampton students invite to a thought-provoking night of fashion

People are being invited to attend a university fashion show with a thought-provoking twist.

Instead of being a parade of the latest clothes trends students are hosting the show which they hope will highlight problems facing the youth of today.

The Pentad Reality is a fashion show designed by the Fashion Marketing students at the University of Northampton presenting current issues through fashion and artistry.

Taking place on Thursday April 20 starting at 6.30pm, the show will highlight the five problems that young people face -the five themes include, ‘Dear Mr Trump’, ‘Magnetic Electric’, ‘Social Composition Vision’, ‘Living Opposites’ and ‘Green Queen’.

The Fashion Marketing students have said it will be a night of thought-provoking fun for like-minded people.

George Bacon, one of the students said: “I feel that too often students are generalised as party goers who wreak havoc on their surrounding community.”

Fellow student, Ashleigh Jones, added: “By Showcasing the five main problems impacting our generation it presents the truth that we are more than aware of what is going on in the world around us.”

Standard admission is £7 for or £10 for a VIP pass and the ticket includes food and drink.
