Two professional eaters set to take part in gut-busting food challenge at Northampton restaurant

Randy Santel and ‘Magic’ Mitch Dombrowski have become famous by touring the world taking part in eating challenges.

The pair will be in Mu Mu restaurant in St Giles Street at 6pm next Wednesday to take on the Mu Mu Challenge, which will involve eating a plate filled with nine beef burgers, a large portion of onion rings, cheesy chips, a 12 inch garlic bread and a large milkshake within 45 minutes.

Manager Ashley Headland said: “There has already been a lot if interest in the event and a lot of people have booked tables for the night.”

Randy Santel is a professional eater and bodybuilder and, earlier this year, took part in 42 food challenges, consuming more than 200,000 calories.
