Travellers pitch up at another location in Northampton
Another traveller group has set up camp on an unused road in Duston.
The group of at least five vehicles were seen moving onto the section of road by Sandy Lane last night.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “The Countywide Traveller Unit (CTU) has been made aware of an unauthorised encampment of caravans near Sandy Lane in Duston.
“Officers are assessing the site with a view to serving formal notice, ordering the encampment to vacate the area.”
