Three vehicles in collision caused partial closure of A45 around Northampton at rush hour
Emergency services called to crash on busy ring road around town
The A45 eastbound was brought to a standstill this afternoon (Tuesday) following a crash involving three vehicles near the Barnes Meadow Interchange.
Highways England confirmed Northamptonshire Police were at the scene of the crash, which was reported around 4.30pm
Severe delays were reported in the area until around 6.30pm with queues backed up to M1 junction 15.
It is believed the vehicles have now been recovered and traffic has returned to normal.
