There are four-mile tailbacks on the M1 through Northamptonshire on Monday morning.

Highways England say a broken down truck blocked one lane at around 6.30am and is causing huge queues southbound between Junction 16 and Junction 15A.

Traffic is crawling all the way back to Junction 17 where the M45 joins in the M1 with delays estimated between ten and 20 minutes and increasing.
