TRAFFIC NEWS: Heavy traffic around Northampton after series of crashes

A number of roads are blocked around Northampton after a series of collisions in the heavy fog.

One lane of the A14 eastbound is blocked and traffic is queuing after an accident involving three vehicles just after junction two.

Traffic is queuing to junction one for the A5199.

In Northampton earlier this morning, there was a collision in King Edward Road at the A5095 Park Avenue South junction. Traffic is now starting to clear.

South of the town, the A508 is partially blocked at Couteenhall because of an accident involving three vehicles.

Traffic is backing-up in both directions, towards Stoke Bruerne in the south and towards the A45 Barnes Meadow Interchange to the north.
