Traffic delays after car catches fire in Northampton town centre
Firefighters were called out to Northampton town centre after a car caught fire.
Smoke was seen pouring out of the vehicle after it caught fire near The Plough junction shortly after 5pm today (Tuesday).
One fire crew is currently in attendance and one lane of Victoria Promenade is closed and traffic is delayed up to the Gas Street roundabout.
The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical fault.
