Two lanes of the M1 closed near Northampton causing knock-on effect across the town for commuters
Drivers are being warned of severe delays on the M1 near Northampton after two lanes were closed.
Highways England reported at 8.10am on Monday, October 7, that two lanes were closed on the M1 southbound between Junction 15 and 14 southbound due to a broken down car.
According to the AA there was heavier than normal traffic on most roads around Northampton this morning, especially around Mereway and the A45 around Brackmills.
