TRAFFIC ALERT: Three lanes closed on the M1 in Northamptonshire after accident
Three lanes on a stretch of the M1 southbound in Northamptonshire have been closed after an accident.
Highways England reported the accident happened between Junction 17 and Junction 16, with delays back to Junction 18.
Emergency services are at the scene but there are no details at this stage about the accident.
Highways England says the delays are likely to last until 7.30pm.
