TRAFFIC ALERT: Car fire on M1 near Northampton

Emergency services are dealing with a car fire on the M1 near Northampton.

Highways England reported that two lanes of the M1 northbound between junction 16 and 17 were closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

In the update at 7.25pm, drivers were warned to expect delays.
