Town firms to showcase wares at Northampton fair this weekend
St Giles Fair, organised by Northampton Borough Council, is due to take place in the main hall of the Guildhall on Saturday.
Leader of the council, Councillor Mary Markham (Con, Park) said the event is a chance for independent town firms to showcase their wares - and to show that St Giles Street is open for business while construction work takes place to revamp the shopping destination.

“Entry is free and it’s a great chance to get a flavour of the wide range of independent businesses in Northampton and all they have to offer.
“Several of the businesses at the fair are from the St Giles Quarter and it’s an excellent opportunity for the businesses to show that St Giles Street is open for business as usual during the current works taking place to improve the winner of the Great British High Street award even further.”
The St Giles Fair will run from 11am until 3pm. Entry is free.
