Three-year-old girl left with head injuries after being hit by a car in Northampton

Police have revealed the girl left with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Northampton this morning was three years old.

The toddler was injured in the collision in Great Billing Way, Northampton, earlier today at about 8am at the pelican crossing near to the junctions with Rectory Farm Road and Blackthorn Road.

A Renault Clio, driven by a 27-year-old woman from Northampton, was travelling towards Talavera Way when it was in collision with the girl.

The girl was taken by air ambulance to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with suspected head injuries, where she remains in a stable condition.
