Thieves steal part of CCTV camera on Northampton Racecourse
Part of a CCTV camera attached to a lamppost on the Racecourse in Northampton has been stolen.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “The main camera lens unit which is housed on a lamppost opposite the Colwyn Road entrance to the park, was taken between Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14.
“Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously near the camera or who may have been offered a lens of this type for sale in recent days,” he added.
