Teens arrested after vandalism at Delapre Abbey in Northampton

A group of teens have been arrested after a set of newly restored windows were smashed at Delapre Abbey in Northampton.

Around five windows were broken at the ancient abbey on the night of Monday, July 11.

Police say objects were used to break the glass, which had only recently been installed as part of a £7.2 million restoration of the site.

An 18-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman have since been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
