Teenage girl assaulted by grey-bearded man in Northampton underpass

A grey-bearded man assaulted a teenager by grabbing her arm as she walked through a Northampton underpass.

Police are appealing for information after the incident in The Arbours area yesterday, Wednesday, December 7.

The victim was walking through the underpass between Rickyard Road and Pell Court at about 4pm when she noticed a man sitting at the other end.

As she approached he got up, walked towards her and grabbed her. She managed to pull away and run off.

The offender is described as Eastern European, olive-skinned with a slim, muscular build. He was about 5ft 9 inches with a dark grey beard and moustache.

He was in his late 20s or early 30s and was wearing a black knitted beanie hat, black leather jacket, blue or grey tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and dark- green knitted gloves.
