South Northamptonshire MP leads rival in race to be Prime Minister, according to poll
Private polling by Leave.EU shows a lead for Andrea Leadsom over Theresa May in a head-to-head leadership contest, with 56 per cent of people asked saying they would vote for the South Northamptonshire MP.
The same organisation, which campaigned for a Brexit vote and has publicly backed Mrs Leadsom’s bid, accurately predicted the outcome of the EU referendum on June 23, within 0.1 per cent of the result.

Hide AdA spokesman claimed the poll had reached about a fifth of Conservative Party members.
He said: “We have deployed cutting-edge US methods which profile personality traits via social media analytics, to better understand how to poll in a more effective way.
“Leave.EU has over a million supporters reaches around 15 million people a week online – a bigger audience than any political party or movement.
“This supporter base is cross-party by nature, but connects us to around 20 per cent of Conservative Party members.”

Hide AdIn addition, when voters of all parties on the Leave.EU database were asked if they would join or rejoin the Conservative Party if Andrea Leadsom was leader, 41 per cent said they almost certainly would and over half (53 per cent) said they would consider it, with UKIP voters being particularly open to persuasion.
