The star of a YouTube video that has been watched by more than five million people is hoping to raise money for a Northamptonshire charity from the release of his Christmas single.

The Wealdstone Raider, known as Gordon Hill, has released Got No Fans, which is currently sitting just outside the top 10 of the Official Singles Chart.

Profits from the single will be split between Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, Wealdstone Raiders Youth FC and Northamptonshire-based Autism Concern

Julia Hardcastle, managing director of Autism Concern, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Gordon has chosen to help us.

“We are a small charity that relies on donations to cover our costs. We are always looking at new ways to get funding and hopefully this will provide us with a huge boost for 2015.”
