Seven-mile tailbacks in Northamptonshire ‘was due to’ six-vehicle crash


A crash involving six vehicles caused long delays on the A45 in Northamptonshire, police have said.

The accident happened at about 4.45pm yesterday on the dual carriageway near Earls Barton.

Northamptonshire Police said tailbacks went back as far as junction 15 of the M1 and the wreckage took about two hours to clear.

The force said it had no record of anyone being taken to hospital as a result of the crash.
