Police were called to Grange Park in Northampton this morning where several horses had escaped from a field.

Seven horses broke free from the field and trotted onto a nearby road in Grange Park.

Police were called just after 8.30am after the horses were found in Bridge Meadow Drive.

The horses were all safely escorted back into their field by officers before 9am.
