Rothwell man accused of intent to supply cocaine
A Rothwell man has appeared in court charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Ryan Kendall, 21, of Cambridge Street, is alleged to have committed the offence on September 14 this year.
Wellingborough Magistrates Court heard how Kendall’s vehicle was stopped by a police patrol and searched.
Police found six bags of cocaine, £170 in cash, a knife, screwdriver and an iPhone with texts to people who are believed to be drug dealers and users.
A further search of Kendall’s house found bags with traces of cocaine, £180 in cash in his living room and £550 in cash inside a computer game box.
Kendall was also charged with possessing cannabis after a small amount was found in his car.
He pleaded guilty to possessing the cannabis and was fined £200 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £20.
He entered no plea to the charge of intent to supply cocaine and was granted unconditional bail to appear at Northampton Crown Court on November 24.
