Robbers attacked an 11-year-old boy in a Northamptonshire village before stealing his mobile phone and money.

Between 3.30pm and 4pm yesterday (April 8), the boy, who was walking through an alleyway off Rose Avenue, in Weldon, was approached by two males wearing balaclavas.

They pushed him to the ground and stole his phone and money, before making off towards Chapel Lane via the village hall car park.

Both attackers were described as white and about 5ft 4 inches tall. One of them was wearing a white Nike T-shirt and black jogging bottoms.

The second offender was wearing a blue Airwalk T-shirt and black jogging bottoms.
