Several main roads will be closed for a number of hours during the annual Northampton Half Marathon.

The race, which takes place on Sunday, September 6, will begin at the Guildhall before runners wind their way through the town centre then out to Brackmills Industrial Estate. The finish line for the 13-mile course is Delapre Abbey.

It means several roads will be shut over a period of up to three hours.

Signs have been attached to lampposts on some of the routes but the full list is below.

Organiser Steve Adams said 10 charities will benefit, with each competitor paying £100 to enter.
