Mr Elmore said: “Every year our company makes a donation of 100 selection boxes to a worthy cause and this year we chose NGH (Disney Ward).

“I am local and have children who have used the ward before I know first-hand what a good job they do. We thought the donation would help to cheer up the children who use the ward during the festive period.”

A spokeswoman for the NGH said: “We want to thank Quest Employment and Andy for supporting us with this very generous and timely donation. Any gifts at Christmas are always very much appreciated by the children who need our support.”
