A man from Northamptonshire who was sentenced to 11 years in prison for kidnap, robbery and conspiracy to steal a vehicle, has absconded from prison.
Police are now hunting for Andra Hoyland who absconded from an open prison in Derbyshire last week.
Hoyland, from Broughton, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court in April 2012 to seven years and six months in prison for robbery and kidnap.
In February 2013 he was sentenced to a further four years for conspiracy to steal a motor vehicle.
Hoyland, 31, who was part of a organised car crime gang, has links to Kettering and Cambridgeshire. He ran away from HMP Sudbury on Friday, March 20,
He is white, about 6ft, of medium build, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a tattoo of the Tasmanian Devil cartoon character on his right arm.
