Pop star Ed Sheeran poses for photo with a fan in Northampton
Sports fans got a surprise yesterday as singer Ed Sheeran popped to Northampton to support his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn who was playing in a local hockey match.
Following the game at Northampton Hockey Club (The Saints) in Pitsford Road, Moulton he went to the Northampton Saints Cricket Club in Birchfield Road where he took a snap with a fan.
Chronicle & Echo reader, Mick who Tweeted the photo of the singer/songwriter posing with his wife said: "Cherry - his girlfriend - had played hockey at Moulton Park and he was there to support her and the team."
Sheeran, who grew up in Framlingham, Suffolk, released his third album, ÷ (pronounced “Divide”) on March 3.
