Police confirm incident in Briar Hill was a stabbing
A man has been arrested and released under investigation following a stabbing in Northampton.
Officers were called to the incident in Thorn Hill, in the Briar Hill area, on Saturday at about 8.30pm to reports of a man who had been seriously assaulted following an altercation, a spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police today said.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
