Police were called to keep the peace after receiving numerous calls about a house party with up to 200 people there.
Northants Police took 15 calls from members of the public in the early hours of today (Tuesday), with people complaining of noise as well as fighting in the street outside a house in Cedar Road, Abington, Northampton, just before 2am.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 1.44am to reports of a large number of teenagers in the street fighting and being noisy.
“There was a house party, we went into the house and there were between 150 and 200 people inside with about 40 people out in the street.
“We received a total of 15 calls from members of the public and we sent out quite a few officers to move people on.
“Despite this, we had reports of music being played until 3.30am.”
The spokesman said officers went out to keep the peace and encourage people to leave the street of terraced houses in the Abington area.
No arrests were made.
