The brand re-opened its Sixfields Leisure Park venue last week, in a move that created 10 new jobs and added a "central preparation station" and a new cocktail bar at the outlet.

The company says that as part of the revamp, staff have been educated on the history and “theatre” of cocktail making including which cocktails complement which new menu items.

Deputy restaurant, Scott Drew, said: "The new makeover looks fantastic. We’ve been really creative by adding funky design elements, stylish booths and even a feature wall. But it’s the cocktail bar and service station that stands out the most, particularly in the evening when they’re both lit up.

“We’ve got a great new menu too. We’ve shaken things up by introducing dishes like the fried pickle, our BBQ steak flatbread and Oreo ice cream shake. I hope guests love all of the new items just as much as we do!”

The investment in Northampton is part of a broader £60 million refurbishment and restructuring programme for the business, secured through private equity investment from Rutland Partners in late 2012.
