Pit bull attacked dog and its owner on bus in Northampton

A pit bull dog attacked another dog and its owner during a bus journey in Northampton.

The victim was on the lower deck of a Stagecoach bus (number 15453) travelling along Tonmead Road in Lumbertubs when a man with a brown dog came down from the top level. The man’s pit bull-type dog then attacked the victim’s dog.

Both the victim and his dog received small bites as a result.

The offender is described as a white man in his late thirties with a scruffy appearance. He was bald and wore a white tracksuit top and a red adidas woolly hat.

The incident happened on a busy bus on Wednesday, December 10 at about 2pm and police are appealing for anybody who witnessed it to get in touch.
