PICTURES: Large crowd turns out for day of fun and games at Sixfields

The Cobblers staged a successful open day at Sixfields at the weekend where the 2016/17 Nike home kit was publicly revealed for the first time.

Fans also enjoyed an open training session as manager Rob Page and his staff put the first team squad through their paces.

Supporters were then invited to participate in a penalty shootout on the pitch against the first team squad, while all Gullivers Junior Cobblers members were welcomed on to the pitch to play in a special match against the first team.

The League 2 trophy was on show for supporters to have their picture taken, while the players also met supporters and were available for photos and autographs.

Chairman Kelvin Thomas said: “It was a great chance for them to be with the players and watch a training session,

“There was a great atmosphere around the place and the feedback has been positive so we’re delighted with how it went.

“It shows what this club is about and it continues the good work we are doing.”
