Postcode Lottery gang won't be knocking on the door but 11 Towcester neighbours are still feeling grand

Eleven Towcester neighbours had plenty to smile about at the weekend after landing £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The gang from Greenview Drive in the town scooped the cash when NN12 6DL was plucked out as a People’s Postcode Lottery winner in the daily draw on Saturday.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassadors will not be knocking on their doors due to the Covid-19 situation, but Judie McCourt sent her well wishes, saying: “A big congratulations to all those who have picked up a prize in Towcester. I hope they are able to treat themselves to something special with the money.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

People’s Postcode Lottery manages multiple society lotteries promoted by different charities and good causes. Saturday's draw was promoted by WWF-UK, which has received more than £15.2m to build a future in which people and nature thrive.
