Winners of the award were nominated by the public, which allowed residents of Northamptonshire to show their appreciation and reflect on the hard work done by others.

While the pandemic is still ongoing, Northamptonshire County Council and its leader, as well as the formal institutions of the High Sheriff's Office and Lord Lieutenancy say they feel it is important to recognise the many across the county who have committed themselves to response and relief efforts since the beginning of the outbreak.
