First pictures revealed of new housing development in south Northants
The development will see 90 homes built in Towcester
The developer responsible for a collection of new homes in Towcester has released the first pictures of what the houses are expected to look like.
Farriers Court off Burcote Road will be made up of two, three and four-bedroom houses, located to the south of the town around a mile away from Towcester racecourse.
As part of the planning agreement, Bellway the building developers, is set to invest more than £800,000 in the local area including £460,000 in schools and £240,000 in sports and recreation.
As well as building 90 homes, other contributions will be made to town centre management and improvement, public transport, the fire service, kerbside recycling and public art.
The computer-generated images are the first to be released of the development, which is expected to be popular among local buyers.
The first homes are due to be completed in April or May this year and the whole development should be completed within three years.
Bellway south midlands sales director, Elaine Brown, said: “Farriers Court is set to be a very desirable development of new homes, and we wanted to show people what will be available by releasing the first images of the site.
“We hope these images will help local house-hunters to gain an insight into the selection of homes available to them and what life might be like at the development.
“It’s a lovely site, which is close to the centre of Towcester, and has all the amenities you could need, so we really wouldn’t want house-hunters to miss out on the first pick of plots here.
“We’re expecting these homes to be popular, so we’d like to encourage all those who are interested to visit the development to gain further information on what’s available.”
There is a show home available to view on site now.
