A home in a Northampton neighbourhood was badly damage yesterday after a fire broke out on the first floor.

Fire crews were called to the house in Dryleys Court in Goldings yesterday afternoon (December 30) after the blaze broke out at around 16:54pm.

The reportedly fire was started in a first floor bedroom by lit candles.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was extinguished by 6.10pm.
