Two men are being sought over an aggravated burglary in Northampton.
The burglary happened in Uppingham Street, Semilong, on Monday evening happened between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
Two men called at the property and when the door was opened they pushed their way into the house and demanded money.
Another homeowner came out the kitchen and tried to push the men back towards the door.
However, one of them punched the victim, a 69-year-old man, in the face and then left the house and ran off.
The men were described as white teenagers, about 5ft 8in, and of skinny build. They were wearing dark clothing and scarves over their mouths.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
