Two ambulances and three police cars have reportedly been spotted on Barrack Road near the Barratts Snooker Club.

It is understood a pedestrian was in a collision with a vehicle and is being treated by emergency services according to witnesses at the scene.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: "We received reports involving a vehicle and a pedestrian shortly before 4.30pm on the Barrack Road.

"One person has been taken to Northampton General Hospital with injuries."
