Pedestrian injured by hit and run driver who was “playing loud music”

A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car as he walked along a road in Northampton.

The man was walking along Greenview Drive in Kingsley Park, close to the junction with Fairway, when he was involved in a collision with a white Ford Fiesta.

The incident happened at about 6.30pm on Wednesday, February 12.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “The driver, who was playing loud music at the time, failed to stop at the scene.

“The pedestrian received a number of injuries.”
