Palestinian women visit Northampton for musical tour organised by human rights charity

A group of eight Palestinian women will visit Northampton from 17-19 March, during a musical tour organised by London-based human rights charity CADFA.

The women will stay with local families and meet with members of Northampton women’s groups as well as offering a free public concert and meeting. This event will bring together Palestinian and English traditional songs, with the help of local folk band Cut-a-Caper.

The ‘Come and Sing!’ concert is hosted by the Northampton Al-Bireh Palestine Friendship Association on Wednesday March 18, 7pm, at the Quaker Meeting House in Wellington Street, Northampton.
