Today marks the beginning of the last week for Northampton shoppers to choose which local school they want to receive a £1,000 cash prize.
Weston Favell Shopping Centre’s Rewards for Schools campaign, which has seen over 7,500 shoppers take part, will run until Sunday, December 14.
Participating stores have been giving customers who spend £5 or more tokens to drop into boxes located in the centre to vote for which Northampton Primary school they want to win the prize.
Currently competing for the top spot are Headlands, Thorplands and Moulton primary schools, with St Andrews CEVA Primary School quickly catching up.
Kevin Legg, centre manager at Weston Favell, said: “Thank you to all our shoppers who continue to take part in this wonderful campaign and showing your support for our local schools.
“With only a week to go it’s getting really close and the voting is very tight. Anyone could still win the prize.”
